Admission & Placement Policy

At Wentworth Schools, placement decisions are made with the best interests of each child in mind. Students are placed according to their age, developmental stage, academic readiness, and previous educational experience.

Age Placement

Students are typically placed according to the age requirements for each class level. Birth certificates or other official documentation are used to verify age.

Academic Readiness

All new applicants participate in an assessment process designed to ensure they possess the foundational skills necessary for success at the intended class level.

Individual Consideration

In certain circumstances, placement decisions may take into account exceptional academic ability, prior educational experiences, or individual learning needs.

Parent Partnership

We believe parents play an essential role in their child's success. Families are encouraged to share relevant information regarding their child's academic, social, emotional, or developmental needs throughout the admissions process.
